Learning something new always gets my creative juices flowing. I end up with lots and lots of ideas for more and more projects I’d like to make, now that I know how to do something I didn’t before. When I was home for Christmas, my Mom taught me how to cross stitch. I love it and find it very therapeutic to sit and stitch. This project is a fun and easy one for beginners especially.
Print out the free pattern here. You will also need 14 count canvas, a cross stitch needle, an embroidery hoop, and 4 colors of embroidery floss. The colors I used are listed in the pattern, but you can use any colors you would like, these just happen to match my living room. I created this pattern with help from a cross stitch alphabet from Carrie’s Creations.
